All-In-One Beauty: the new skin and hair care revolution

One-Stop-Shop beauty from skincare to whole body cleansing

Beauty consumers are taking the reins when it comes to products they invest in: paying close attention to the ingredients, impact on Mother Earth and price point.

All-in-one-beauty brands Shampoo With A Purpose and Clean & Pure is the reason why I’m geeked about this new revolution in skin and hair care.

Shampoo With A Purpose

We all have a pet peeve when it comes to beauty. Mine is dandruff! Nearly five months flake-free – it’s a weight off my shoulders.

Gone is the embarrassing snowflake build up in the middle of summer. Or the constant urge to scratch a salt mine off my scalp. Too graphic, too much information, yes, I know; this was my life before Shampoo With A Purpose.

Who knew an all-in-one shampoo and conditioner bar could combat dandruff, act as a body wash and reduce your environmental footprint. #Beauty Goals!

Instead of using plastic bottles that can take 20-1,000 years to break down by itself Shampoo With A Purpose saves you from becoming one of 5.3 million Australians consuming single-use plastics per week.

I use The O.G. loaded in Moroccan argan oil which stimulates hair growth and scalp health, coconut oil to help restore moisture and shine and fair trade shea butter to minimise frizz, breakage and U.V. damage. As a curly girl, The O.G. leaves an impressive curl definition and bounce.

Shower time feels that much enriching, knowing each lather is vegan, palm oil and sulphate free.

The Shampoo With A Purpose range includes Colour Treated, Dry or Damaged and Volume bars retailing at $15 (135g) available here.

Clean & Pure Skin Nutrition

Another one of my one-stop-beauty picks is Clean & Pure Skin Nutrition. The same company who brought you eBay’s highest selling lip balm treatment (which I rock daily) is back with more bang for your buck.

Clean & Pure Skin Nutrition is a nourishing vitamin, lipid, antioxidant-rich pot of gold. I’ve whipped out my rescue remedy to address excessively dry feet, tame baby hairs and brows, sunburn, soften cuticles and heal abrasions. Skin Nutrition emulsifies three times over; I find 1 cm of product warmed up in your hands is enough to get you going.

Skin Nutrition’s 20g balm contains manuka beeswax, organic rosehip, avocado, papaya, cocoa, almond oil, unrefined shea butter, coconut oil, primrose, aloe vera, and calendula-enriched olive oil – finished with an earthy scent.

I want my beauty like my technology, smart and compact. Why pay $300 for skincare when you can pay $14.95.

  • REPOST ❤️ • @tradingblak STILL RELEVANT! We posted this back in July and it’s still happening. Blatantly. And finding out who owns and truly profits from these business is becoming harder and harder as messaging becomes more ambiguous and self proclaimed impact in our communities is marketed without any real transparency. Why do these business models not step aside and allow for blak leadership in the space? Or commit to a skills transfer to communities? Why continue to make profit off a culture that doesn’t belong to you? Trading Blak stands firmly in supporting buying blak owned and building a
